Joe represents special districts and other public and private parties in water court proceedings and other water related matters. In addition, he has experience in all aspects of representing local government entities as general counsel, with a particular emphasis in construction contracting and other infrastructure related matters. Joe attended law school at the University of Denver and obtained a degree in civil engineering from Kansas State University. With prior experience in construction, utility design and planning, project management, water resources, and hydrology, he is uniquely suited to managing complex water cases, publicly bid infrastructure and construction projects, and day-to-day contracting and statutory compliance matters.
Joe is a Colorado native and currently lives in North Denver with his wife, daughter, and rescue dog. He and his wife are over half-way towards vising all thirty MLB ballparks and still count Coors Field in their top-4 favorites. Joe also enjoys all types of outdoor activities including hiking, backpacking, skiing, and golf.
