Allison has a broad background in local government law with particular experience in real estate, employment, construction, and public finance law. She provides general counsel representation for special districts, municipalities, and local government authorities. Prior to joining Collins Cockrel & Cole, Allison represented developers, individuals, and land trusts on matters of real estate, land use, public finance and conservation law at Isaacson Rosenbaum in Denver, and she was also in-house counsel for a nonprofit organization in Washington, D.C., where she focused on leasing and employment law.
Allison received a Bachelor of Arts with honors in Government from Smith College in Northampton, Massachusetts in 2001 and a Juris Doctor from the University of Denver Sturm College of Law in 2006. She has lived in California, Massachusetts, Texas, Italy and France – and Colorado is her hands-down favorite. Allison enjoys traveling, cycling, and going to Rockies games with her family.
