Linda Glesne’s practice focuses on local government law, primarily representing special districts as general counsel and serving as special counsel on employment and personnel matters. Linda’s practice expertise emphasizes emergency services, park and recreation, and water/wastewater, employment law (defense) and EEOC and administrative agency representation. Prior to joining Collins Cockrel & Cole, Linda was an attorney with the Texas Municipal League Intergovernmental Risk Pool, where her practice focused on insurance coverage, governmental immunity and liability issues, and employment law consultation and training. After moving back to Colorado, she served as Assistant General Counsel and then General Counsel in bankruptcy to the biking and fitness corporation Schwinn/GT Corp.
Linda served as a director of the Colorado Fallen Firefighters Foundation for 2 years. She regularly presents speeches in conjunction with the Special District Association (SDA).
Linda grew up in the Denver suburbs and then moved to Texas, where she attended college and practiced law. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Political Science, cum laude, from Trinity University and earned her J.D. degree from the University of Texas School of Law. Linda is licensed to practice law in both Colorado and Texas.
