Kathryn Winn’s practice emphasizes the representation of local governments, including special districts and municipalities. Kathryn speaks regularly at the SDA Conference and Spring Workshops on topics such as open records, open meetings, boardsmanship, the Special District Act, and HIPAA, and annually updates the SDA Board Member Manual. Prior to joining Collins Cockrel & Cole in 2008, Kathryn worked for Great Outdoors Colorado where she assisted municipalities and land trusts in acquisitions of land for parks and open space.
Kathryn received her bachelor’s degree in English from Mary Washington College in Virginia, and her law degree from the University of Denver. Her activities outside of the office include cycling, animal rescue, and photography.
